OK, of course I would not buy this for my self, I gave it to my girlfriend, and she just fell in in love with it. She kept it on for the first like 6 days. It is really great quality, much more gorgeous than the picture, the opal is beautiful, I really can't find anything bad about this opal ring.

Opal is a "soft" stone and requires good moisture. The best way to clean an opal ring is by wiping it using a soft cloth, mild detergent and room-temperature water. Mix the water with a little detergent and soak the cloth in it. Squeeze the cloth so it's not too wet and wipe the opal ring gently.

Some people suggest using oil or wax but that is quite unnecessary. Just as suggested above, water plus mild detergent will clean the opal and the ring just fine.

Love it! I bought this opal ring about a month ago and can't stop staring at it when it's on my finger. The Opal stone has many glowing flecks of colors, and they keep changing depending on the lighting. My opal has yellow, green, pink, light blue and. Though the diamonds are small they are a good enough size to capture the lights. However the attraction of this ring is definitely the Opal stone.

This simulated opal ring is really stunning. It is dominantly green, with specks of pink and blue in various lights. The opal is really splendid and glows in the light. The opal is approximately 1/4" in witdh alone, 1/2" in width with sapphires. It stands approximately. 1/4" off of your finger, and slowly steps down in height to the band. The only minus point would be the diamonds - they are not sparkling as expected. However the opal and sapphires are enough to make up for the diamonds.

I bought this emerald-cut opal ring after searching through literally hundreds of different kinds of shapes and styles of opal rings. Bought the ring for my girlfriend for her birthday present and I was quite apprehensive before it arrived at my door. The opal stone itself was beautiful and the cut is extraordinary. This was an anniversary gift for myself. I really don't have too much free time to shop, but I did stop at a jewelry store on my way to work to get an education. I may not know much about opals, but with the education I got from the jeweler, I realized that I really got myself a great deal. The ring is solid, well made and the prongs are thick and sturdy. The diamonds are white, bright and clean. The opal has lots of "life", is very clean and is a really good size. The ring is very elegant, classic and expensive looking, and is presented in a very nice box and pouch. Best of all it cost me a third of what I was willing to pay at the store, and I know the quality is the same or better of what I was going to get for $1200. Shopping online was really easy and delivery real fast (4 days). Free shipping a nice plus. I will shop again with no hesitation, and highly recommend both vendor and item.
