This lens is dedicated to the amazing and incredible anti-aging diet created by no other than Dr. Oz from the Oprah Show. If you have seen the show, you will know what I'm talking about. This young doctor just discovered a way to reverse the aging process and to help us life a longer life. With some simple and basic rules on how to follow a healthy eating habit, we can therefore create a younger looking appearance and live a longer life. I have done some research and I have collected the essential rules that we need to follow.

Dr. Oz talks about the free radicals and how this affects our body. He explains how can we reverse the aging process and what food we need to eat to nurture our bodies.

Follow this simple suggestions and I'm sure that your life will start to change and you will start living your life, for the first time. Healthy and Happy!

When Dr. Oz appeared on Oprah Show he explained that the reason why we age was because our body was having problems producing the proteins that are essential for our health. So, our bodies will start to deteriorate and eventually, die. But the reason our bodies are having problems with the proteins is because of the free radicals.

Ok, let me explain what free radical are, do you remember chemistry in high school?, Remember that all we all are a organism that is compose of cells?. We also know that at the basic level of our cell,are nucleus with electrons and protons. The electrons are negative charged and the proton are positive charge while the nucleus is neutral. So, this electrons that are surrounding the nucleus are forming bonds with other molecules.

Some of the weak bonds are split forming the free radicals. The free radicals attach themselves to other molecules to stabilize themselves, creating again another free radical. this keeps going on like a chain until the cells are completely dead.

Antioxidants Supplements The Free Radicals 

The free radical chain creates oxidation in our bodies, and this is what is aging us and slowly killing us. So, it's common sense that what we need will be antioxidant, the opposite, so we can stop the chain of free radicals.

The perfect example of free radical damage is the apple. If you slices an apple in leave outside (exposing it to the air) this will cause an oxidation and it will turn brown in just minutes. That's what is happening to our bodies.

Vegetables are very important in our diets. There are some of the veggies that are higher in antioxidant than others.

For example: The sweet potatoes, broccoli and tomatoes.

Haagen-Dazs Acai Berry Sorbet 

The ice cream company known as Haagen-Dazs came out with a new product for their sorbet line. The new acai berry sorbet. This sorbet is filled with all the antioxidants we find in the actual acai berry fruit.

Acai Berry Sorbet





Brazilian Açai Berry Sorbet Chocolate Wine Bonbons

Ingredients:

3 tablespoons red wine (such as pinot noir)
2/3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Häagen-Dazs Reserve%u2122 Series Brazilian Açai Berry Sorbet

1. Line a tray that fits in the freezer with plastic wrap, or set a wire rack on the tray.

2. With a 2-tablespoon size scoop (cookie scoop), form Brazilian Açai Berry sorbet into 8 firm balls, about 1-1/2-inches in diameter.

3. Place scoops on prepared tray and return to freezer for 1 hour or until completely frozen.

Chocolate coating:

1. Place wine in a 1-cup glass measuring cup or small bowl. Heat on high power 30-45 seconds, allowing to simmer about 10 seconds. Stir in chocolate until melted and smooth. Mixture will be thin. Cool, stirring several times until about the consistency of honey.

To coat bonbons:

1. Immerse one ball of sorbet at a time into chocolate. With a fork, lift bonbon allowing excess chocolate to drip back into bowl. Return bonbon to tray. Work quickly to coat remaining balls. Return to freezer until coating is set.

2. Serve within 2 hours or place bonbons in an airtight container for longer storage.

If we don't sleep the amount of hours per day that we need, our body start to age faster, way faster. So, relax, and try to sleep more and meditate more. This will "recharge" the body to be able to function properly.

Take Vitamins and Drinks Lots of Water 

Vitamins are esscentual to our dialy diet. Specially, vitamin D. Vitamin D prevents cancer and reduce heart problems.

Also, take calsium, vitamin E and Multivitamins.
