She is also an influential book critic, an Academy Award-nominated actress, and a magazine publisher. She has been ranked the richest African American of the 20th century,the most philanthropic African American of all time, and the world's only black billionaire for three straight years. She is also, according to some assessments, the most influential woman in the world.
Did you catch Oprah on Tuesday November 27th. She showed the behind the scenes of "The Hometown Show" that is the code name for the Fav Things show, so that noone knew what was exactely going on.
I think that the ratings lie, because when lady O went on a viewer hunt to giveaway tickets, she could hardly find anyone at home watching Oprah. Ok yes she did find like 3 people, but most of the homes she visited were doing other things, besides watching the show.
Shame on them, considering the fact that Lady O was in town. The least they could do was watch her show while she was in town. Unless ofcourse they were out in the street waiting for a quick view of the Queen of Talk Shows.
So carrying on...
The show was almost a no show when the power generator decided to stop working 2 hours just before the show. This generator was the one that powered their remote satellite truck and all this time Oprah was in hair & make up and did not have the slightest clue what was going on at the auditorium.
She was getting her hair, did! LOL
