The beauty of web-based applications is that your data is always backed up for you, there's no need to ever instal anything or do updates and you can access your information from anywhere... as long as there is an internet connection. In most cases that means that you will always have access to your data particularly with the recent increase in Wi-Fi hot spots and even whole cities which are being covered by Wi-Fi access.

However there are still times when you aren't going to have access to the internet or a computer. That's why Oprius has now started building syncing for mobile devices.

Within a few months you will be able to access and update your Oprius data from smartphones, palm pilots, and even most newer cell phones.

We will try and keep you posted on the developments and make this feature available to you as quickly as possible.

We are very excited to announce that you can now create your own Web Pages using Oprius. This is great for building landing pages, lead capture pages or any other type of simple web page.

When you start building your first web page, you don't start with a blank page, choose from any of our professionally designed templates. Then feel free to easily add pictures, videos and even a form where visitors can send you their contact information so that you can personally follow up with them. Once they have filled out the form they will be automatically added to your Oprius account. These leads can then be assigned to your Relationship Builder Plans where emails can be sent to them automatically, follow-ups scheduled and everything tracked all in one place. This will be a great way to help grow your business and build your own brand.

To make everything really easy we even added Domain Registration so your new website can have its very own .com domain name. As with everything in Oprius there is no limit to the number of Lead Capture Pages you create and use.

To check out this new feature, go to your Contacts section. Click the blue "Lead Capture" button in the top left. From there you can manage and create both Pages and Widgets. Widgets are simply web forms that you can copy and paste into any other website you currently own, in order to allow visitors to add themselves to your Oprius contact list.

We're excited to announce that Oprius will soon be launching a new module that will allow all users to build their own custom websites with lead capture widgets in order to generate your own leads.

Go from having no idea about how to build a website to having your own site and domain that can capture leads into your Oprius account in less than 30 minutes.

That's the idea behind the incredibly elegant new module that will be added to Oprius before the end of February '08.

The Oprius Web Widget is now available and fully customizable. Anyone with a website can quickly and easily create a web widget (web form) customized to their liking, and then paste it into their website.

This can be used to allow people to sign up for your newsletter or request more information about your product or service. Each contact is added to your Oprius account where you can have them automatically added to an email campaign or follow up manually.

Every one knows that cold calling your leads can be tough. It can also be a little scary. That's why for lots of people it's the last thing that gets done on their todo lists. That's why Oprius has designed a system that makes it really simple for people to know who they have to call.

Most importantly though with Oprius your calls are always presented in such a way that you can easily see all the calls that you can get started on TODAY. That helps people avoid putting all their calls off until the day it needs to be done by.

There's also a full phone assistant that comes with Oprius which will actually help you get all the info you need for each of your calls.
