The trailer pictured above is the original cardboard trailer released with the MP-01 version. The new MP-04 trailer will be made of plastic and metal parts and officially released by Takara. The MP-04 set should be packaged in a large gift-set box. We cannot put into words how hot this figure will be.

Amazon user review: Takara's MP-4 Convoy with Trailer is the best Optimus Prime ever made. He stands a full foot tall. The Legs and chest are die cast. The plastic is heavy duty. The toy weighs several pounds as a result. Also comes with the long transforming trailer (absent Roller the mini car).

This Transformers technology is designed to enhance vehicle-to-robot conversion with partially animated mechanical triggers that activate the final shift to battle mode. See armor slide to protect vital points. Flip down the Ion Blaster in robot mode to launch the projectile. And press the button in vehicle mode for electronic horn sounds and lights. The different between Optimus Prime movie version Episode 1 vs episode 2 (ROTF) is the windows screen color. Episode 1 is blue color while episode 2 is white.

This has got to be the most impressive example of planning upon planning for a perfected design that features an extremely complex transformation (at first)- but after the first few times you get the steps down pretty easily (only took me a few days).

If you compare the 2007 model/version of this figure to the newly redesigned 09' model- you'll see a significant difference in character comparison. This IS Optimus Prime, not just some inaccurate toy, it's so close to the CGI character that I don't see any mistakes in the design- if anything it's prefect.

Every detail matches up with the CGI design so well that it's just awesome! The toy is durable, AND when you transform it, parts don't rub against each other and mess up the paint job- which i know some perfectionist collectors ABSOLUTELY hate.

Optimus Prime + Jetfire Power UP Mode

His head sculpt is extremely well done and loyal to Primes established image. He demonstrates a high level of articulation typical to the Alternators line, and his gun is a removable internal component, also typical to most of the line. In robot mode, Optimus shares one or two superficial traits in common with the Laser Prime/Scourge design, such as the elevating headlight mounts that serve as shoulder plates. The trucks broad hood serves as a massive, overlapping chest plate. Large feet and overall bulky foundations allow him to stand pretty well even with the added weight of the heavier design.

Aside from the fact that the Alternator Prime would now stand in direct opposition to the Alternator Decepticon leader, Shockblast, he (Prime) has apparently yet to be insinuated into the Binaltech/Alternators storyline, which may or may not be complicated by the minor incongruity of Primes Binaltech counterpart, Ginrai rather than standard Convoy.

Nemesis Prime is a monstrous Transformer sent to kill Autobot and Decepticon alike. It scanned the minds of the Transformers and took the form of Optimus Prime, as he was the most powerful and respected in all their minds. As a duplicate of Optimus Prime, Nemesis has all of Prime's strength and power, in addition to his own ability to reconstruct himself.

Nemesis Prime wields the Vorpal Saber, a twisted clone of the Star Saber, and has a Mini-Con partner named Run-Over.

Alternity is a different series from Binaltech. The size is 1/32 scale so it can easily fit on any desktop. The size is slightly larger than deluxe size figures. The pricing scheme was based on today's cost of the various materials used. There are two colors of the car because the silver was used to represent a real NISSAN GT-R color that is only available now and the red was chosen specifically because it is a Convoy.

When transformed, the rear seats becomes the feet, the front seats when folded down becomes part of the armor surrounding the arms and the roof and the front grill have a spring action mechanism. The video demonstrates the spring action mechanism where the front grill is divided into three pieces: right, left and center. The right and left sides encloses the center piece. This 6 inch Transformer Convoy/Optimus Prime PVC figure from the Transformer Encore series. This is a remake of the Original Collection piece, which are nearly impossible to find now and was one of the best selling items when the first edition came out.

This revised figure features some new parts (i.e. new molds).Transforming mode is a late 1970s semi truck 18-wheeled tractor-trailer.As you know Optimus Prime, or Convoy in Japan, is the leader of the Autobots.
