The Game of War and A Path to Peace

My book, Dear Ahed, explores the implications of War, Peace, Religion and Politics. My interest lies in educating people, in making them think and understand why we do not have a world at Peace and explaining how, together we can create a new economic system for the world that will not depend on the weapon business.

Why we have war and not peace.

Populations are controlled by lies and fear.

If you learn one thing about War, Peace, Religion and Politics, I hope it's this: how and why language has been used to separate societies, to control and antagonize people, demonstrating, how today, well educated and talented writers with extensive knowledge of the lexicon and assistance of psychologists together with scientists who have great expertise on mind control', help politicians organise chaos, violence and wars as they use techniques to create fear in the population, so that they can offer us protection

DEAR AHED.......THE GAME OF WAR AND A PATH TO PEACE
by ALBERTO PORTUGHEIS OPUS BOOKS

Through a passionate series of exchanges with a pen-friend, Ahed Hussein, Alberto Portugheis takes the reader on what is likely to be, for most people, a disturbing journey; a journey which takes an in depth look at what is arguably the most profitable business on the planet, the weapons and war industry. Through a combination of personal experience, careful analysis, and studies of its many elements, Portugheis uncovers the reality behind the many wars which we are constantly mislead into believing, by the many individuals and organizations who profit from them, but send others to fight, "just happen", or happen "for the reasons we are told". Through the pages of this book, the reader will gradually understand that reality is very different, and that wars do not "just happen", nor they happen "for the reasons we are told", but are carefully and covertly planned and fomented, and that an enormous amount of people, whilst claiming to work for peace,
and officially condemning wars, are involved in them, at many different levels, and contribute to them, with different degrees of responsability, and profit. Without these many individuals, in many different areas of life, always willing to sell their souls, in exchange for their "30 pieces of silver", this gigantic criminal enterprise would not be able to exist; it would finally collapse and be archived as a sad and tragic memory of a barbaric past in human history. These individuals can be found within organizations and groups ranging from Universities to banks, from politicians and diplomats to Royal families, from journalists to educators, from religions to the military, from secret services to secret societies, forming the incredibly vast, but covert, criminal network which is exposed in this book, for what it truly is, showing the devastating impact it has on the life of the many millions of unaware people, whose life is sacrificed to the Gods
"Profit" and "Power", day after day.

Portugheis explains how important it is for this criminal network that people be kept in constant ignorance of what really happens behind the scenes, the "peace talks", the "wars for peace", or the "war on terror", in order to protect itself and its profits and from the people who have no desire nor reasons to kill other human beings, which they have never seen in their life, have never done anything to them but, "somehow", have always been manipulated into doing so, throughout the millenias, by dark and largely unseen forces, which have perfected over time the use of what is possibly the most famous legacy of the Roman Empire, the principle of " Dividi et Impera" - Divide and Rule. This book is a wake up call to a humanity who has been kept asleep and ignorant for far too long, and is daily paying the price for what is probably the most brutal expression of the legally organised crime, WAR. As such, it will not prove popular among those whose "30 pieces
of silver", depend upon keeping the "wars for peace" going, or upon pretending to be "protecting us" from "terrorism".

We will ignore its message at our own peril.

Description:
Dear Ahed is a collection of radical, compassionate essays interspersed with letters to a Palestinian, Ahed Hussein, who has suffered greatly from the effects of war. The author, who has spent much time in the conflict areas of the world, demonstrates that through education and understanding the way words are used, a society could be created free from war. Alberto Portugheis, who was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize 2008, explores how and why language is used to separate societies, control and antagonize people. He demonstrates how educated and talented writers, with the assistance of psychologists and scientists who have great expertise on "mind control", help politicians organise chaos, violence and wars as they use techniques to create fear in the population, so that they can offer protection. The book is dedicated to Ahed Hussein and to all people who are seeking Peace and Truth. This is the Peace Proposal the World is waiting for.

Available from Lulu.com and Amazon from March 2008

Opusbooks says:

peace will NEVER be achieved whilst Governments continue to pay scientists to invent or develop weapons - even when thanks to weapon manufacturing, un-employment figures are kept under control. The Arms Trade provides Governments of weapon-producing countries, as well as agents ? often diplomats or politicians of weapon-buying countries, with very considerable profits'.

War is not the way to peace.

A Testament of Love

Dear Ahed

The whole book (Dear Ahed) is, of course, a testament of love. It speaks of the wounds he suffers by taking all the world's anguish and misery into his enormously receptive heart. The map of the suffering created and 'contrived' by his giant adversaries is also the chart of his own calvary among the millions of afflicted people. The fact that he is an accomplished musician makes him the more open and sensitive to the fate in which they are caught up. The resonance within his own being is starkly reflected in his accounts. It is not necessary to agree with every word of his homilies to understand and be pierced by his chilling message.
