The Orange Bowl is an annual American college football bowl game played in Dolphin Stadium just outside Miami, Florida. It's been played annually since 1935.The Orange Bowl is the second-oldest bowl game in the country. From 1968, the game usually featured the champion of the former Big Eight Conference.The most recent Orange Bowl at Dolphin Stadium on January 3, 2008, ACC Champion Virginia Tech played University of Kansas. Kansas won the game, 24 to 21.
This is an historical game played since 1935 at Miami Field and since December, 1999 at Dolphin Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida. The teams who play are the champions of the ACC or BCS At Large vs. BCS At-Large.
