This lens is all about organic abstract fine art . . . what it is, artists who make it, where to buy it, etc.
The term "organic abstract" art is one I invented myself to describe a particular series of my fine art works, then found that other artists were using too!
The organic quality of the art is either textures or forms, sometimes both.
Organic abstract art can be created in many different ways, using painting, drawing, photography, collage, computer techniques or a combination of these approaches. My own organic abstract art uses input from all those techniques.
The term "organic abstract" is not precise, as many paintings include somewhat organic elements, and organic abstract works are sometime semi-abstract, showing recognisable elements. I like to apply the term to artworks where the organic nature of the forms and/or textures are more significant than other elements. For example, Rothko's abstracts include organic textures, but it looks to me that the works are more about landscape and space than the organic qualities of the texture as such.

These works come from a series of artworks that I started while doing Masters Degree classes in a university in the US in 1995 . . . I began by exploring purely abstract elements, combining them and changing them, and realised that what fascinated me so intensely were the organic forms and textures which naturally arose as I worked.
This organic abstract series is very evolutionary in nature, with each work being influenced from previous works as well as other elements around me, my emotional evolution from second to second, and the feedback from the evolution of each piece in its own right.

A multi-level piece, reminiscent of looking through a succession of semi-translucent layers to mostly-hidden depths beyond. A glowing scarlet organic form hangs in one of the more distant spaces, with multiple partially transparent layers adding depth and mystery with forms and texture from bold organic brush-strokes to subtle linear shadings. The kind of absorbing, fascinating artwork one can stare at for hours and keep finding beautiful new elements and spaces.
