Organic Quinoa
Organic Quinoa is one of the super foods we have around. It was once called the "gold of the Incas" because it increased the stamina of Incan warriors back in the old days. It's also hailed as the "mother of all grains" because of the nutrients it provides.
It has a light, fluffy texture when cooked and it has this distinct nutty flavor which I think makes it versatile to be served anytime of the day. It's a great alternative for rice, pasta and oats.

The Benefit of Good Healthy Organic Quinoa
Enjoy good health and get the great benefits from quinoa
Another benefit of organic quinoa is that it is easy to digest and it does not contain gluten. It also contains more iron than most grains and it's rich in calcium, phosphorous, folate and B vitamins.
Studies show that quinoa significantly helps in relieving symptoms of high cholesterol, high blood pressure and certain cardiovascular diseases. People who are suffering from migraines and hypertension can also benefit from eating quinoa because of its riboflavin and magnesium content. These are known to help relax the blood vessels which in turn reduce constriction to ease tension build-up.
Organic Quinoa - Get The Nutrition Facts
Understand the nutrition facts of good organic quinoa
A month ago when I was telling her about my new plan to get in shape and exercise, she started raving about organic Quinoa, and it's VERY HIGH source of protein. This inspired to me to "nerd out" in front of the computer for a night doing research on Quinoa and where to buy Quinoa.
Orgain Quinoa (pronounced KEEN-wah) was prized and considered to be sacred to the Inca's and is an important food in the Andean region of South America for over 6,000 years. Now this is all interesting but the part where it gets good is the darn stuff's nutritional value!
Quinoa has a protein content of 12%-18% (of your recommended protein intake) making Quinoa an incredibly healthy choice. The best part is not only that organic Quinoa is tremendously high in protein, but the protein is a totally complete protein-meaning that it includes all nine essential amino acids.
Since Quinoa has a perfectly balanced profile of amino acids, it's one of the best choices for vegetarians, vegans, or anyone keeping their protein intake adequate. Quinoa also has a very large amount of the amino acid lysine. Lysine is necessary for tissue growth and repair (i.e., looking young).
Quinoa features a large supply of other health building nutrients. Organic Quinoa is an excellent natural method of getting manganese, magnesium, iron, copper and phosphorus. This is especially important for people that suffer from diabetes, atherosclerosis, and migraine headaches.
