Organic Gardening Tips by Alicia Davis
I have ben gardening for many years. My grandparents gardened, and my parents did, too. I learned a lot over the years. My passion is gardening naturally, organically. I try to do all of my gardening 100% organically. I very rarely ever escape from this routine.
One thing I like to tell people is, "Never feel guilty." Meaning, if you're having serious issues with your plants, and ever organic method you've tried has failed, don't feel guilty for using something inorganic. We all have our weaknesses at times. Just because you practice organic gardening does not mean it's all or nothing. Relax, don't feel guilty, and know that every step you DO take toward gardening organically is helping the environment. But you don't have to be perfect!
Right now I have some tomatoes, herbs, greens, and peppers that I am growing organically. This year I'm trying container gardening, because my good friend Amy does, and she is extremely successful with it. If you'd like to try container gardening, she offers some great information at her site:
Amy's Container Gardening Tips
She does mostly organic container gardening, too. She and I get along famously, because we have many of the same interests!
I'm going to be adding as many organic gardening tips to this lens as I can. I want to talk about composting, organic pest control, and other issues that are critical to your organic gardening success. I'll be adding information over the coming weeks, so please bookmark this lens and come back often for the updates!

- I am a fan of container food gardening, and although I am yet to write it up, have just built a new setup. I note you have a few gardening lenses Alicia, how about you add them to my growing food group.
