* No worry of toxins - Organic cotton is grown without the use of herbicides, pesticides and insecticides. Conventionally grown cotton consumes approximately 25% of the insecticides and more than 10% of the pesticides used in the world.* Organic cotton is grown using untreated, non-GMO seeds. Most conventional seeds are treated with fungicides or insecticides.
* Growing organic cotton helps preserve the environment's air, water and soil. Strong soil is built through crop rotation - it retains water better due to increased organic material in the soil. The water is cleaner due to the lack of chemical run-off from fields.
* Organic cotton is harvested with help from the seasonal freeze. Conventional cotton is defoliated with toxic chemicals.
