What Does Organic Website Traffic Mean to You as a Marketer?
Organic website traffic means it's natural in the eyes of Google and other search engines. Remember the days when spammers could slap up dozens of poor quality keyword-stuffed content pages and dominate the SERPs?
Well not anymore! Now you have to take some pride and effort in your SEO efforts. Yes, you can pay (cough - through the nose) for Pay Per Click campaigns, but why?
If you're good at PPC, then by all means, go for it! Trouble is, many people (raising my hand) suck at PPC marketing and wind up spending more than they made.
Organic website traffic allows you slow and steady growth (a perk to search engines who want to ensure you're not a robot or spammer). It's also FREE!
Organic website traffic comes from a myriad of web 2.0 outlets online - this very Squidoo lens is a piece of my organic website traffic formula. So are my Hub pages, my Ezine Articles, my Google Knols, and my blogs!
