Orlando Attractions in Focus
Gatorland Orlando-Live Alligators
The Land of the Gators
This is one of the rarest opportunities that you will have as a city-dweller to see a whole farm full of live alligators. No wonder Gatorland is known as the "Alligator Capital of the World."This farm is 110-acres big and houses a huge number of gators. You can take pictures, learn about them-what they eat, how they live and a whole lot more.
You can also take pictures of them as souvenirs. Just be sure you are not holding one while posing for that picture. You never know how it will react. ;)
You also have an opportunity to watch them interact among themselves. You can see a few 'youngsters' wrestling themselves out.
There is also the beautiful and touching view of a mother gator feeding her young. Hey, even these guys (or gals) know that they should care for their own kind.
And this is just a sampling of what this Central Florida wildlife zone offers you. Like they say "a picture is worth a thousand words." Heck, I think a persona experience is worth not just a thousand words, but also a thousand pictures.
But you will have to see Gatorland Orlando to understand that!

Kennedy Space Center, Orlando
Explore NASA Facilities, Watch a space Ship Launch and More...
Ok, maybe you may never have the opportunity to flight to space yourself, but at Orlando's Kennedy Space Center, you can at least fake it. :)Originally known as the Launch Operations Center, it was renamed The Kennedy Space Center in November of 1963 after the assassination of US President John F. Kennedy.
Here, you can experience a lot of space flight-related activities. You can:
- Eat some space food. Considering that the nutritional needs of our space men and women are slightly different from ours, because, well they are in space, of course!
- Also, get some flight simulator drills to give you the feeling of actually being on a spaceship and flying to space.
- Even witness an actual launch of a space mission. This is something that many have seen on TV, but never experienced in real life. Here, you have that rare and priceless opportunity.
- Learn a ton about the evolution and development of the NASA programs. Discover what the Mercury, Gemini and Apollo space programs were and how they have influence the US and the world's space technology developments.
- Of course, have some fun, too! :)
Who says you can't!
The Kennedy Space Center is just the kind of place to be if you want to combine education, fun and space exploration and have them all at once and in the same place.

Wonderworks Orlando
If you have ever felt like your house is upside down (whether literally or figuratively), wait till you travel to Orlando and see Wonderworks. This is one of the marvels of this Central Florida city. This is actually a house that is upside down, because it was built that way.
This is an amusement park of its own. But its attraction is not only that of the fact that it is upside down. There is another to it. This house is aligned on the inside with over 100 beautiful exhibits that promises to give you and your family the experience of a lifetime.
Whether you are planning to come here alone or with family or friends, you are bound to be entertained, amused and leave with a satisfaction that tells you that you have finally experienced that "ah-ha" moment. :)
