Lens Of The Day Honors 

I'm really flattered and a little bit blown away that I've had two of my lenses picked as Squidoo Lens of the Day picks.

My lens on the movie Cloverfield was picked as LOTD on January 17, 2008, the day before the movie opened. I ran out the very next morning to see it and I really enjoyed it.

My Monkeybrain lens about how young people need Sex Education NOW! was picked as LOTD for February 28, 2008. I used to volunteer at a sex education phone switchboard, and got to listen firsthand as to how badly parents and the education system in this country are doing when it comes to providing a comprehensive and accurate education about sexuality to teens and young adult.

A Few Personal Favorites 

• Who is THE GRINCH WHO STOLE CHRISTMAS - This was one of my first SquidWho lenses, and I just really wanted to have fun with it. One of my favorite parts of the animated tv version is the Mr. Grinch song so I made that a main feature of the lens.
• 300/three hundred - This was the movie lens where I really figured out how to "do" a movie lens that is satisfying to the hardcore movie fans as well as the casual moviegoer.
• William Burroughs' NAKED LUNCH - I had to read this book more than once before I really began to grasp what was going on with it and I think it just gets more powerful each time I re-read it.
