Oscar Carter

With over thirty years of organizational and management experience as a prominent leader in the hospital and health services administration and public health field, serving as a senior executive at several of the largest health delivery and public health systems in the United States, Oscar Carter has also consulted for governments and for profit and not for profit entities across the country in the development and management of complex and extensive building projects and programs. Now having left his health care career he now spends his time as a social and business entrepreneur empowering others and himself. He is most passionate about the the vision he created in 2005, Creating A World Community. You can learn about it below.

Oscar began his career serving as a Captain in the United States Military, where he ran a medical clearing station (MASH Unit) in Vietnam. Following discharge, he obtained a Masters Degree in Hospital Administration at Columbia University and later completed doctoral work in Organizational Behavior at Case Western Reserve University.

PS I should mention, in late 2006 and 2007, I enjoyed immensely participating in the United States presidential campaign as a field and deputy field organizer. I never felt such reward in conversing with people in empowering them to vote.
