Osu! The "new" Guitar Hero for PC?

The answer is easy: nearly everything!
You can just download the songs from the website and start playing. Most of the songs are Kpop, Jpop and Game Themes or TV series Themes but there are also a lot (!) of chart songs available. From Eminem, Linkin Park, Lady Gaga to Rihanna there are many great songs to play.
Osu comes with different levels of difficulty so you might begin with the easiest and try to level up. Sometimes I can't stop playing a song until I finally beat it, 'cause it makes so much fun. Due to the large songbase the game won't become boring soon. If your desired song is not available you can easily create it using the Osu editor.

Osu is very easy to learn. There are 3 types of buttons to click. Every button has a number which shows you the chronological order in which you have to click each button. The basic buttons only have to be clicked on when the big circle reaches the border of the button. The second button is a click & drag button, so you have to click and drag the mouse to the end of the button. The last button is the same as the click & drag button, but you have to go backwards at the end of the button and drag it back to the beginning. Sometimes there is also a disc which you have to click & hold and then spin round your mouse as fast as you can. This will give you lots of bonus points.

Osu also has a great multiplayer mode where you can play online with your friends and battle out who's the best. You can set up a lobby in a few seconds and invite your friends or you can just join some random games and have fun with people all over the world. If somebody needs to download a song he or she can just click on the songname and Osu will automatically download the missing one.

and download the software. Install the game to any folder and start the game. If you want to appear in the ranking you have to create an account at the website.

Just download a song (you can even download them in packs) and directly open the ".osz" file with the Osu.exe or save it anywhere you like and just double-click the song. Osu will automatically put the file into the right folder so you can immediately start playing.
