Our Pomeranian Dog

We decided to call him Smokey, for a couple different reasons. His parents were both registered with names that had something to do with Bears. Probably because pomeranians tend to look like little teddy bears, especially when they are very little. So we named him "Smokey Bear", which soon became shortened to "Smokey Joe".

Don't ask me why my dog has a middle name, all of our animals seem to! We have a cat called Buster Brown, another cat called Tabby Sue, and then our pom, Smokey Joe!

Nothing like our old Pom, Smokey Joe is as mellow as they come. Just loves to lay around until we go out somewhere!

Our Smokey Joe likes to do this think we call "the Twitch" He lays on his back and moves his feet really fast together like he is doing exercises.

He seems to do it just for fun all the time.

We can also get him to do it on command.

It is so funny!

People often think maybe he is having a seizure.

We wonder if there are other Pom's in the world that do this twitching thing.
