Veteran's Day is November 11th
Support Our Troops is a slogan commonly used in the United States and in Canada in reference to each country's military forces or troops. The slogan has been used during the recent wars.
The slogan is sometimes seen as over generalized because of complex issues in military battles. For example, an individual may want to support personnel in the military but not the current respective government's foreign policy.
I do not support the respective government's foreign policies, never have and at best, it may be that I never will. I do however support our troops and veterans who have been alluded into wars that have cost them and their families so much.
I support those that are gung-ho and always will be because of their own patriotism and calling, without them who would there be to lead and protect our troops in battle. Their experience as veterans of war is priceless.
