Nothing but satisfaction for this unit. The extra cost compared to the stamped steel was worth it for the many uses. BTW, consider why more of these units and fire pits are using stainless steel or copper parts? That's because the cheaper ones rust. One more thing: If you don't buy one with the clean-out, be sure to place a hole at the very bottom to allow seepage for condensation. It will help prevent excessive rusting, especially for the stamped steel jobbies.

Most metal chimineas run twice the price. Generous size, lovely 360 degree screen, slide out ash drawer and it is nice and tall. I recommend tightening the screws on the legs every season. My new Orchid Chiminea from Blue Rooster seems to exactly match the description on their website. It is well designed, easy to assemble, made from quality material... aluminum castings and stainless hardware... It comes with a heavy cast-iron fire grate and a cast iron grill. It is heavy but not too heavy for me to move around when I remove the chimney. It is big enough to hold a nice-sized fire. I think it should last for decades.

Got this the other day. Heavy construction, but easy and simple to put together. They even throw in a fire poker with the package! Assembly took about 15 minutes. Only thing I would recommend is that they double the nuts so you can locknut each bolt, but otherwise a great design
