Where to place the animated Christmas displays, tube lights or string lights and where to put them

Christmas is just around the corner and you want your house to look like a Winter Wonderland.  How do you get started with the outdoor Christmas decorations?  By devising a plan first.  Picture in your mind what it is you want people to see as they pass by your home.  Where do you want to put the lights?  What type of light do you want to use?  How many bushes do you have and which ones do you want to put Christmas lights on?  Do you want to use the string lights or tubes?  Do you want to use the web lights over the bushes?  Do you want to have Christmas displays in the yard and if so where do you want them and what do you want, Santa displays?  Nativity Displays?  Reindeers?  Or maybe the Christmas Snowglobes?  If you're using the string lights or the tube lights first measure where you're going to put them, decide how many bushes you're going to cover with the net Christmas lights, then you'll know how many you'll need before even going to the store.
