Make A Plan

Where Do I Start?

The first thing you need to do is check out your last year decorations (if you had any). Make a list of the things that you already have (if it's convenient to do so, you might want to get them out and make sure nothing is broken and everythinbg is in working order) and start a list of the things that you would like to add this year.
Now here comes the fun part - you need to start shopping to see what's new this year and what old favorites are available that you may want to add. There are some great options available at The Outdoor Christmas Store.
Another thing you need to do is decide approximately where you want to place your items and make sure you have plenty of extension cords and a plan to minimize the number of cords you will have to string out in your yard. Make a note to check on some solar decorations also, as they would not only elminate the need for cords, but will save you a lot of money on electricity.

Outdoor Decorating Supplies

It's important to have all the things you need to get your outdoor Holiday Decor up and running. Make sure your recepticles, timers and cords are all weatherproof and rated for the amount of power you will be using. Also, a great set of solar lights that will eliminate the need for cords and save on your utility costs!
