The adventure sports vacation has become a great get away from everyday life. Enthusiasts are traveling far and wide to feed their need for adventure. The entire industry of adventure sports has really gotten a boost from famous actors and celebrities who have joined the ranks of the adrenalin junkies. Even media outlets have started to compete for the rights to previously unknown events. In 2009 watch for even better coverage and access to these fun to watch sports.

Launch Wakeboarding School was started by Ryan Fraser in 1999. Since then, Launch has been successfully teaching people of all ages and all abilities about the sport of wakeboarding. Launch even introduced a first time boaters coarse, which is the first class of its kind. This course is designed to help those that are just getting into the sport. For unprepared new campers, there's a different story. You can spot them the minute they step onto the campground...

They're so disorganized they packed a mish mash of city clothes, some personal items, a borrowed tent, and expensive gear they've never used before.

Then reality hits...

First, they arrive near sunset after hours of driving. They fumble around to put up their tent in the dark, but it's missing parts.

Second, they didn't bring water or the right food. There's no supermarket nearby, so they go to bed hungry and thirsty.

Third, they realized didn't bring items to get a good night sleep. They sleep on a cold and damp tent floor with just a light blanket cover.

Last, they didn't bring items to stay comfortable on the trip.

They're stressed out, and everyone who went with them is unhappy. They pack up sooner than they wanted, and head for home or a nearby motel.

It happens lots. In fact, I've seen beginners get tangled in many worse ways several times over.

I hate to admit it. I even had a similar experience as a beginner.
