Outsource Compendium

Many people have asked what they get if they download Jeff Mills' free new e-Book called Outsource Compendium. The marketing buzz and hype is getting crazy and Jeff is providing lots of great content at his site, but I thought I'd give you a preview of what you get by downloading the eBook.

I'm a little embarrassed to tell you this, but even though I'm pretty up on most things business, information marketing, and internet, I didn't even know a lot of this stuff.

Outsource Secrets Revealed Course Details Released

Only 1,000 copies will be available

Jeff Mills has released the details of when his course will be released and how you can get your copy. He's only releasing 1,000 copies of the course becasue he doesn't want to over burden the people he recommends in the course.

So if you are at all interested, you need to check out my blog below to get all the info. He's releasing the course at 2 p.m. Eastern Time on Wednesday, April 23.

You can also get a ton of great info on the program and many extra tips by attending a webinar Jeff is puuting on...details on my blog.

What's in it for you?

Let me start this review off by saying that I am an affiliate for Outsource Compendium. I hope you won't hold that against me, though. I will try to be as fair as I can in the review.

Here's the plan...we'll go chapter by chapter through the compendium so you'll know what's in the book and how it might help you. Of course, I can't give away all the secrets, or you wouldn't need to download the eBook, now would you.

Chapter 1 - Introduction

Outsourcing history and momentum

In the first chapter, Jeff explains why outsourcing makes your job as an internet marketer easier. For example, if you've been in business for any length of time, you know there is never enough time in the day to get everything done you want to get done.

Ever wished for a second pair of hands?

Chapter one explains how you can join the thousands of other businesses around the world in getting this extra pair of hands. And not only do you get more help, but you get help that wants to be doing the tasks you find boring or unfulfilling. Imagine, you can have someone whose total focus is that task you hate doing or are not very good at! And not only that...it's something they LOVE to do. That means they'll be good at it, do it more quickly and efficiently than you ever could, and free you to do other things.

Jeff gives examples of how outsourcing has helped his and other people's businesses. He also discuss how to work "on" your business rather than "in" your business and how to get out of the "hard work = always busy" pit you're probably in.

Finally, he provides links you, as a business owner, need to make sure your outsourcing efforts explode your business rather than your wallet.

I was asked recently how to get ahead in information marketing. The person wanted to know how to be a success and build a business. My answer ended up being more an answer about how to succeed in anything rather than being strictly about business.

Chapter 2 - The Big Idea

What's a compendium?

Jeff explains how he used his own methodology to compile the Outsource Compendium. He gives more web sites for budding information marketers to use to explode their business without taking all the time to write articles themselves...or use stale, overused PLR articles.

He also promises that the eBook is a pitch free zone...and I can confirm that's the case. You've already endured more sales pitch in this article than in the entire 80 page eBook! ;)

Chapter 3 - Outsourcing Blog and Website Creation

From this point forward the eBook provides tons of links in each chapter that will help you outsource the area of your business the chapter covers.

Chapter 3 also provides tips and tricks you can use as you enter into the world of online outsourcing. Many of the links he provides are companies he has personally used. These are not just a bunch of outsourcing web sites he pulled off Google...many of them are companies he has been using for years to help him build his information marketing business.

Chapter 4 - Outsourcing Your Article Writing to Experts

Not the same stuff he covered in Chapter 2

While Jeff discussed some of this topic in Chapter 2, in this chapter, he goes delves into exactly (step-by-step) how to get experts to wrtie your information marketing articles for you. He then goes into how you should frame your project requirements to get the best possible article.

Probably of most use to new information marketers is the list of what you should expect to pay for articles. He tells you how to avoid being scammed and how to keep yourself out of copyright trouble.

Chapter 5 - Outsourcing Article Submissions with Software

Save tons of time and energy

We all know the benefits of having original content all over the internet. It drives traffic to your site through backlinks, builds reciprocity with clients and affiliates. It boosts your Google rank and makes you look like an expert. And, most importantly, it builds your list.

But how do you have time to post articles all over the internet?

You don't have to anymore!

Jeff covers how to make sure you get the valuable backlinks to your site in every article that's posted. He also tells you how to automate your article submissions through article directories and software. Possibly of most importance, though, Jeff tells you how to make sure your articles aren't tagged as spam by these automated services. Getting on their blacklist would kill your marketing and he tells you, step-by-step how to stay off them.

Finally, he provides a brief review of some of the most popular article submission software products available today.

Chapter 7 - Outsourcing Pay Per Click Management

Focus your PPC efforts with less total expense

According to Google analysts, over 30% of consumers click on paid advertising. Do you use pay-per-click advertising now? If not, you're leaving money on the table. If so, is it as productive as it could be if you had someone that could devote several hours a week to it?

In my business, I never have enough time to get to the PPC ads. I've got some up that are doing OK, but I don't have the time to analyze what's working and what's not or to split test like I know I should. Are you in the same boat?

If so, you need Outsource Compendium. This chapter alone tells you how to outsource your PPC advertising without breaking the bank. Imagine...you on top of Google's paid and organic listings! And you don't have to lift a finger...just pay a specialist. Jeff explains how to make sure you don't pay too much and get maximum return on your investment.

Chapter 8 - Outsourcing Publicity and PR

Get the media talking about you

Do you want the offline media talking about you too?

Did you know there's more to public relations and publicity than just TV, newspapers, and radio? Did you know there are ways you can influence all of the offline media outlets from online?

Jeff does...and he tells you how in this chapter. Whether you're looking for case studies, press releases, or any other offline marketing effort...you can begin the search with reputable companies that Jeff recommends.

Chapter 9 - Outsourcing Copywriting

Could you sell snow to an eskimo?

Quick...what's the difference between writing a great article to get backlinks and writing a great sales page for your web site or a great sales letter for offline marketing?

The difference is...cash in your pocket!

Jeff gives you some tips on how to do your own copywriting, but he also shows you how to get experts to do it for you. Copywriting can be expensive if you can an expert. But what's the difference between a mediocre sales page and an awesome one?

Cash in your pocket!

Chapter 10 - Outsourcing Web 2.0 Marketing

Do you have time to be sociable?

The internet is no longer the internet...it's Web 2.0. If you don't know what that means, you're so 1980s! ;)

Web 2.0 is all about social connections. Do you really have time to be sociable online and still run your business? Probably not.

But to have massive success and "go viral" you have to not only "do" Web 2.0, but you have to do it well.

Wouldn't it help to get someone that enjoys blogging, visiting social sites, bookmarking sites for you, tracking forum feedback about you, and all the other things you could spend all day doing? Rather than trying to do it yourself.

You could try to outsource this to your 16 year old daughter. She likes to be online all the time anyway, right? Probably wouldn't work, but Jeff explains step-by-step how to outsource your Web 2.0 efforts and get on the social scene.

Chapter 11 - Outsourcing Link Building to Social Sites

Social bookmarking and social media news sites will sky rocket your business

Chapter 11 starts out talking about social networking...which is kind of a holdover from chapter 10. But Jeff uses this chapter to focus specifically on how to build your web site traffic through social bookmarking and posting to social media news sites like flickr, tumblr, digg, and Yahoo!

He also gives you time-saving tricks to use when you outsource this. You have to be very specific about what you want done, how often, and provide your outsourcing partner specific guidance. But Jeff walks you through it step by step in Outsource Compendium.

Chapter 12 - Outsourcing Sales and Marketing

Man...I'm getting tired of writing...and I'm just hitting the wavetops of Jeff's free eBook! He gives you over 80 pages of meaty, no-nonsense outsource info...no marketing at all.

Anyway...on with Chapter 12.

Would you like to hire a sales staff that works tirelessly? And one that works only on commission?

Jeff shows you how to outsource your marketing and sales to JV partners and use affiliate programs to make your bottom like a rocket at Cape Canaveral.

He explains how the programs work, how to build a big database of affiliates and JV partners, and how to track all of them automatically so you don't have to worry about who you have to pay every month or how much you have to pay them.

He also explains how you can join his JV program to market the Outsource Compendium for him and make some extra cash by joining other affiliate programs if you want to.

Chapter 13 - Outsourcing to Call Centers

While JVs and affiliates can outsource the front end of your sales department, you still have to be able to fulfill all those orders and support your ever-growing customer base.

One person in their basement can't do it alone!

Call centers can remove this burden from you. Jeff evens tells a story of how one of his call centers called him up while he was on a cruise in Alaska to tell him they had closed a $34,000 week for him!

Imagine, you don't even have to be home to close sales anymore. Jeff reveals the companies he uses and recommends as well as some tips for what to have them do for you and how you can even use call centers if your business is not a business opportunity.

Chapter 14 - Outsourcing to Virtual Assistants

When I read this, I honestly thought, "Why would I ever want a personal assistant?" Then, as I read all the stuff that you can have people do for you, I was amazed.

By having someone take care of all the mundane details of your life every day, you can focus "on" your business rather than being trapped "in" it. Or, probably even better, you can spend some time with your family or doing other things you truly enjoy while someone else runs your errands, spends all day on the computer, or returns all your phone calls.

Conclusion

Outsource Compendium by Jeff Mills will not solve all your problems and run your business for you. It will not make a bad idea a good idea or provide seed capital for a fledgling company.

What the free eBook does, though, is collect hundreds of useful resources and put them at your fingertips. The point of the eBook is not to tell you to run out and outsource every aspect of your business (although you could if you used all the tools provided). Instead, Jeff provides us with a ready reference for us to use when the time is right.

And, maybe more importantly, he reminds us to take time to sit back and evaluate out businesses. Where could you use some help? Where does it make sense for you to pull out of the business a little bit so you can begin seeing the forest rather than the trees again?

That's what Outsource Compendium is all about.
