Start a cardiovascular exercise program and stick too it, you'll be doing your body and your brain a huge favor.Increased blood flow to the brain will even out activity in your brain and keep you on an even keel. You're also calming your nervous system, which is basically an extension of the brain.
Diet. Eat your greens and eat your fruits. And don't forget your protein. Fruits and vegetables do numerous good things for your brain and your nervous system.
They power up your serotonin pathways and cool down your nervous system. Protein, on the other hand, is the nutrient most responsible for creating the neurotransmitters responsible for calm moods.
So, diet and exercise. Pretty simple. Also, coffee and alcohol do the reverse of what healthy food and exercise do for you. So, you'll want to minimize or eliminate all together.
It might seem like a chore, but just recall the feelings of panic and it will seem very worthwhile, wouldn't you agree?
