Overcoming Panic Attacks
Are you having trouble with overcoming panic attacks? If you are, then I sincerely hope that I can help you. I previously struggled with panic attacks for 4 horrible years. I am very happy to tell you that it's been 8 months since I last had one. The following methods are how I overcame my panic attacks.
Overcoming Panic Attacks (How to Do It)
1. Don't Fight Your Thoughts
Overcoming Panic Attacks
Most people tend to try and push their negative thoughts out of their mind. What they do not realize is this resistance actually opens up the floodgates even more. Rather than fighting with your thoughts, take each one in individually. Look at it and judge it objectively. Our negative thoughts are usually the result of stories we have made up in our minds. Most of them are completely irrational.
Once you realize this, you will be able to come to peace with that particular thought and move on.

2. Accept Uncertainty
Overcoming Panic Attacks
This is very powerful for overcoming panic attacks. That's why it comes as no surprise that it is very hard to do. You see, most of us tend to be control freaks. But what we need to realize is that life is not going to follow our script to the letter.
There is no way for us to control every single thing in our lives. Once you accept uncertainty (and perhaps welcome it) you will alleviate those negative thoughts which are constantly bombarding your mind.

3. Meditation

Meditation is one of my favorite things to do. This is the ultimate way to quiet your mind and take full control over your thoughts.
It amazes me at how so few people actually do meditate though. It does not take that much time. 15-20 minutes every day is more than good enough. Make it your goal to meditate on a consistent basis.
