Just So Lovable!

My husband works in the comic book industry and he just LOVES Free Comic Book day. This year, he was excited to bring home Owly by Andy Runton for our four year old daughter. We then found some collections of Owly at our local library and now the whole family is hooked on this lovable little guy! You will be, too... read on!

All About Owly

Andy Runton says that he has always loved little birds and it shows in his work. Owly is a kind little bird who "knows what it means to be human." He meets new friends along the way and loves to lend a hand when he can.

Owly is a "silent comic," meaning that there are very few words. Instead, symbols (like smiley faces) and different expressions help to convey what's going on. My daughter doesn't know how to read yet, but she can tell us the story from just looking at the pictures. She LOVES Owly.
