Let us see what needs to go in to make a resume. You can use this as a sample for creating your resumes.

The first thing required to create your resume is the information that needs to go into your resume. You can consider the following for gathering the relevant information.
Work experience: make a review of all your work experience. This could vary from small jobs that you have gained experience to creating a budget for a fortune 500 company. You should never forget that everything counts whether it is a simple part time job or a full time job.

Responsibilities: give a brief description about all the responsibilities that you have undertaken. You need not give too many details but see to it that you get in the major functionalities and duties that you had performed. For example if you are considering a position for a marketing manager then you should specify
- How many people you had supervised.
- If you had managed a budget then specify its size.
- How much revenue were you responsible for.
- Specify the size of your sales territory.
When you specify all these information you employer will get a better idea of the responsibilities that you can handle.
Accomplishments: you should specify your accomplishments in specific terms. What exactly did you do on that specific job? You should specify what the results of your performance were. Where you able to increase the profit? Did you face any problem and how were you able to solve it. Where you able to exceed a goal? Where there any product performance. Was there any improvement in productivity or efficiency?

Volunteer experience: This could be experience that you have gained without any payment. For example you could have held the post of a president in the school of your child as a pta member. Where there any meetings that you had organized? Where there any annual carnival fundraising activity organized by? Did you have a certain number of volunteers to support you? Was you fund raising project able to fetch you profits? You could all this as part of your experience which definitely has value.

Education details: the educational details should be fairly brief. You should include the name and location of the school, the date when you graduated, your completed degree and the year of completion. If you had nit graduated then specify the type of courses you had attended. If you are a fresher, then you would not have enough experience so you should highlight your degree and the courses you have completed.

If you have been employed for quite some time, then your education details will become insignificant. You need to stress more on your experience. You experience and accomplishment will speak more for you than your education and provide value to your productivity and intelligence.

But if you are a fresher, then your education must speak more for you. You should also definitely include any internship whether it is for pay, for class credit or a volunteer experience.
