Ozzfest, a Musical Festival like no others!
Ozzfest is an annual tour of the United States featuring performances by many heavy metal and hard rock bands. It was founded by Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, both of whom also organize each yearly tour with their son Jack Osbourne. The Ozzfest tour has featured bands of a variety of genres within heavy metal and hard rock, including alternative metal, thrash metal, industrial metal, metalcore, hardcore punk, nu metal, death metal, gothic metal and black metal. Ozzy Osbourne himself, as well as his band Black Sabbath, has played the tour several times over the years.

Ozzfest A Huge Success
The GodFather of Heavy metal "Ozzy Osbourne", now 61, injected his Ozzfest with much needed charisma and energy that led thousands of fans in the San Manuel Amphitheater to enthusiastically chant "Ozzy," "Ozzy," "Ozzy."
Osbourne's antics included throwing buckets of water on people, blanketing them with a large water spray machine and even cursing them when he said he couldn't hear them cheer.
His set began with the blistering "Bark at the Moon" and included hits such as "Shot In The Dark," Black Sabbath's "Iron Man" and ended with "Crazy Train," performed with 9-year-old Tokyo-born Yuto Miyazawa, who gave an encore alongside guitarist Gus G.
Midway through his 90-minute set, which featured his picture perfect band, the musician noted the first Ozzfest back in 1996 was in Devore.
Motley Crue performed prior Osbourne and opened with their 1991 hit "Kickstart My Heart' and tore through hits like "Wild Side" and "Home Sweet Home" before they finished with "Girls, Girls Girls."
Other artists late Saturday included Halford, who is Rob Halford of Judas Priest, Drowning Pool, DevilDriver and Nonpoint.
Fans enjoyed running in circles and crashing into each other in mosh pits throughout the day.

Main Stage and Second Stage Headliners for 2010 Ozzfest
Ozzfest returns this summer as a touring festival with Ozzy Osbourne and Mötley Crüe headlining. The tour will mark the first time the two bands have toured together since 1984, during the Crüe's breakthrough appearance as Ozzy's opening act on a major U.S. tour.
The main stage will feature full sets from Ozzy, the Crüe and Rob Halford, the latter performing songs from his solo career along with material from Judas Priest and Fight. DevilDriver and Nonpoint will fill out the main stage lineup.
Second-stage headliners and six-time Ozzfest veterans Black Label Society will be joined by Drowning Pool, Kingdom of Sorrow, Goatwhore, Skeletonwitch, Saviours and Kataklysm.
Each date on the tour will include 13 bands on two stages with music beginning at 1:00 p.m. There will also be a "Village of the Damned," featuring interactive activities, shopping and entertainment throughout the venue concourses.

Metal purists will possibly be scared off by the sprinkling of eyebrow-pierced alt-metal types, and some will say that, even in the context of metal's obsessive rigidity, we've heard all this before. But you know what you're going to get on Second Stage Live, and it's appealing, not least because, unlike most albums recorded live at festivals, it actually sounds live, and loud. And it gets progressively louder. Disc two is where things become very serious: Neurosis plough through an ultra-belligerent "Locust Star"; the Max Cavalera lineup of Sepultura sound like the moon rolling through your room; and Slayer perform "Angel of Death"--and you can never really hear Slayer do "Angel of Death" often enough. Ozzy Osbourne, of course, provides the climax, sounding maybe a little out of breath, but as heroic as ever. --Taylor Parkes
