p90x Schedule
The p90x is a collection of 12 highly diverse, intense exercise and fitness DVD workouts, with a p90x schedule and three phase nutrition plan to help you get into shape. Looking into the reviews, the results speak for themselves, this p90x system really does work.
The pack also contains a nutrition book that includes great ideas for low fat breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The Classic p90x program is the normal 90 day program. It is structured so that there are three days of weightlifting done with a plyometrics, yoga, or kenpo workout done in between them. People who want to build strength and muscle are usually interested in following the Classic schedule.
The Doubles p90x program is almost exactly the same as the Classic plan, but it has added cardiovascular exercise. On some days there are two workouts that must be done, an AM workout, and a PM one, with the Cardio X workout done in the morning, and a different workout done in the evening. This plan is not for the faint of heart. The Classic routine is hard enough as it is, so anyone attempting this one should be in good enough shape to be able to handle the extra cardiovascular exercise.
The Lean p90x program usually appeals to people who want to do less exercising with resistance such as exercise bands or dumbbells, and more cardio. It also appeals to people who's goal is more to lose weight than to build strength.
The beauty of the P90X Exercises is that since they are designed for home workouts, there is not much need of equipment for the process. If you have a resistance band and dumbell you can do the majority of the exercises.

p90x Nutrition Plan
The Nutrition Plan
Following the P90X nutrition plan is just as vital to your overall success as any of the extreme workouts in this program. Specifically designed to work in tandem with the P90X workout routines, this three-phase eating plan recommends the perfect combination of foods to satisfy your body's energy needs every step of the way. P90X is not about quick fixes or miracle diets. It's about selecting the healthy foods that you want to eat, and determining the portion amounts that will provide your body with the right amount of fuel to excel during exercise. The P90X nutrition plan offers three phases. Phase 1 is the Fat Shredder, a high-protein-based diet designed to help you strengthen your muscles while simultaneously and rapidly shedding fat from your body. Phase 2 is the Energy Booster, a balanced mix of carbohydrates and proteins with a lower amount of fat to achieve additional energy for performance. And Phase 3 is the Endurance Maximizer, an athletic diet of complex carbohydrates, lean proteins, and lower fat, with the emphasis on more carbohydrates. You'll need this combination of foods as fuel to get the most out of your final few weeks and truly be in the best shape of your life.
