I am a Witch
Not the fluffy bunny, white light, tree hugging, never harm none sort. Some might say I'm a grey witch, I say it doesn't matter.
I call myself a Kitchen Witch, sometimes a Hedge Witch. How I practice has a lot in common with the practices of the old Spaewife from Scotland or the Romany traditions. It comes from the heart and the hearth. I make do with what I have on hand in my kitchen and in the garden, and in my head. You will find that this is reflected in my writing and in my rituals.

Divination Methods
I have used various methods for divining the future. I don't see them so much as a way of finding out what will happen tomorrow though, I use them more as a way of accessing inner thoughts.I've used the Tarot and Runes. Delved into dowsing and pendulums. My favourite method by far though would be using the Amulets of the Goddess set that I have.

Make Your Own Runes
-
I've had a passing interest in Runes for a number of years, even going so far as to make my own set about 15 years ago. I didn't feel fully drawn to them though and eventually gave them away. My husband has an interest in Runes and has been studying...

- "Pagans like stuff." Did you peek in my house? It runs over with fairies, and gnomes, and books, and candles, and goddess statues, etc. We like our stuff, all though my daughter has been busy filling her own house with "my" stuff. I like the picture of the altar. Going to lensroll this to my Portal to Grannysage lens. And make times to wander around all the other wonderful lenses I see displayed here.
