Doing "Art" is food for my soul!

As Sarah Brightman's song "Delivers Me" says, that is what art does for me. As most of you know art has been my anchor in life along with writing. I honestly love all forms of art but it wasn't until I starting taking photography seriously have I believe I truly found a part of myself that has been missing.

Boy, those are pretty strong words, I just wish I could explain what it is like for me when I am looking through the lens of my camera. It almost is like a ethereal feeling. It is like through my lens I can see things beyond the physical shell of what I am looking at.

As I was doing clean up the other day of my Squidoo pages I noticed that it is was time to put a Lensography together displaying all of my art pages including my photography.

Sometimes I do not believe I say this enough but when you take the time to visit my pages and leave comments, they mean a lot to me. So just in case I have not told you lately, Thank you for visiting my page, it is greatly appreciated!!

Fairy Art and Angel Art

The fairy art I do is not your typical little fairies, but are more human size ( I will go into more a little later). Now my fairy art has taken many turns in the short time I have been creating them. In the beginning of my graphic art experience, I knew I wanted to create some kind of fairy pictures and did it the only way I knew how at the time.

This is one area that I am going to have to be careful in. I LOVE black and white photography and always have and it seems that I love it so much that if I am not careful that is all I will want to do. I just recently started doing it and found by adding the vignette effect it adds even that much to the picture. The picture I am showing here is of the rose is among one of my favorites.
