    Great lens! There's so much that goes into pagerank, and although much of The Algorithm is secret, you outlined pretty much all of what's known of it.

    GypsyGirl68-- it could be a few things. 1. Are you on your home page? What's the pagerank info of that page? Other pages may not have a PR, it depends which page is being linked to the most. 2. How many links do you have to your site? Squidoo is a good place to get some links going into your site.

    at your suggestion I installed the google toolbar but even my sites which have been up 3 yrs are saying "no pagerank information available"...not a very useful tool IMO
