Paget Brewster - stars as Special Agent "Emily Prentiss"

Paget Brewster is an American actress who previously starred on the CBS Crime Drama "Criminal Minds". She played Special Agent "Emily Prentiss" from 2006-2011 in Seasons 2 to 6.

Paget has previously acted in a variety of comedy movies and television programs including Urban Comedy, Sitcom, Parody, Romantic Comedy, Ensemble Film, and Holiday Film Comedies.

She has also been a talk show host, a pinup model, and a photographer.

Recently it has been reported in TV Guide that Paget would be returning for Season 7. Best Wishes to Paget with her return to "Criminal Minds" this fall.

Paget Brewster Joined Criminal Minds - Season 2

In 2005, Paget Brewster joined the cast of "Criminal Minds" in the Second Season. Her character followed the replacement of another cast member, Lola Glaudini (who played "Special Agent Elle Greenaway"). Paget has played "Special Agent Emily Prentiss" now for 60 episodes.

Her character, Emily Prentiss, was introduced as the daughter of an ambassador. She transfered to the special FBI unit called the BTU (Behavourial Analysis Unit) after "Special Agent Greenaway's" departure. Emily joined the team with 10 years FBI experience and some experience in the Middle East.

Seasons 1-3

When Emily's transfered to the BTU, she created some tension in the office with her supervisors, Hotch (played by Thomas Gibson) and Gideon (played Mandy Patinkin); as they did not officially agree to her transfer when she joins the team. Even more tension was created for Emily when her Section Chief (played by Jayne Atkinson) requested that she spy on Hotch (Thomas Gibson) when his capabilities within the BTU were questioned.

Luckily, computer-savy "Garcia" (played by Kirsten Vangsness) intentionally misplaces the paperwork in the FBI system when Emily tries to resign from her position. By the end of Season 2, Emily's team members convince her to stay with her new BTU family as they are satisfied with her contributions to the BTU.
