PageWizz is a German-language web portal modeled after Squidoo and Hubpages; it is a free site for authors who want to make money online with their articles. Simon and Hans, the two creators of PageWizz, designed a beautiful system that's easy to use. And the compensation program is generous, too. What I like About PageWizz

And how it compares to Squidoo

The first difference is in the language. Squidoo is in English - PageWizz is in German. So, in order to publish and make money on PageWizz, you should be fairly fluent in the German language. That said, here is what I love about this great site:

  • Although PageWizz went public just barely a year ago (in September of 2009), they offer a nice selection of modules ("Bausteine"): Text, Pictures, YouTube, Flickr, Google Maps, Wikipedia, Links, Poll, Table of Contents...to name the most essential ones.

  • The PageWizz community is made up of intelligent and friendly folks, just like our bunch of lovely Squidoo lensmasters.

  • Interaction with other PageWizzards happens primarily on the members' individual pages, rather than in the forum. Believe me, there are some heated discussions going on, especially on pages with controversial topics.

  • The membership still consists of only a few hundred people, which allows for excellent customer service and prompt attention by the powers that be.

  • PageWizz installs Google AdSense and Amazon ads automatically on each new page. However, the authors may use any of their own affiliate or Amazon links throughout their content.

  • Authors get 60% of the ad revenues, PageWizz keeps 40%. You keep 100% from your own affiliate shares.

  • If someone signs up through your referral link, you'll get 10% of their lifetime revenue generated by automated ads. These 10% come out of PageWizz's 40% income share!
