Video game companies don't want to hire just any gamer - you'll have to prove your skills. Ultimately, when you play video games, you'll have to constantly evaluate the game, and find areas where it's exceptionally difficult, or where there are bugs going on. If you can answer these questions, then you can be a video game tester:
- Was the Game Menu easy to use?
- What was the best part of the single-player campaign?
- Did you like the single-player or multi-player campaign better? Why?
- Did you find any bugs?
- Overall, How did the game perform? (playability, replay ability, graphics, etc.)
- On a rating from 1 to 10, How would you rank the game?
