Need a little extra pocket change?

Whether you want some extra cash each for a nice dinner out, or have a credit card you want to pay more on each month, there are tons of way online to earn a little bit of extra cash without spending a ton of effort.

Why use these programs?

1. Credit Card Debt

Do you have a credit card? Silly question, just about everyone in America does. So, let's say you have a credit card with a $1,000 balance, at 23% interest, and a minimum payment of $30 per month.

How long will it take you to pay that off? 54 months with over $600 in interest paid. So, after 4 and a half year, you'll have paid almost $1600.

What would happen if you added $50 a month to that? The number would drop to 15 months with a little over $150 paid in interest.

$50 a month makes a HUGE difference when looking at credit cards, so the small amounts from several sites really add up.

1. Payments

Most people already have a PayPal account. If you do any kind of sales on eBay, you probably have a premier account. So the $5.00 - $10.00 you receive from these programs will be reduced by fees.

PayPal allows each member to have one Premier/Business account and one personal account. Create a personal account to receive payments for these programs and avoid fees.

eHow

eHow is an old, old website (I think it's been around longer than the internet, to be honest) that contains millions of mini-"how tos" on various topics. Recently, they implemented a writer compensation program. While they aren't specific on how you earn, it basically boils down to the more popular your review is, the more you've earned. I consistently earn $10-$15 per month from my How Tos, and spent 10 to 15 minutes on each one.

You're paid via PayPal on around the 10th of each month. You have to have at least a $10 balance to be paid.

2. Do a little more

All the values on here are based on really the bare minimum of each program. Do more, earn more.

If you love writing, start using Associated Content a lot. I earned $50 in one month for just 8 articles. You also earn residual income, at the rate of $1.50 for every 1,000 views. So, the more you write, the more you'll earn, both now and later.

If you're a YouTube addict, take up ExpoTV. You can submit up to 70 reviews each month, and at $5.00 a review, that could be over $300.
