It All Adds Up!
Welcome to Quick and Easy Paid Writing Sites! This lens was born when I needed a way to keep track of all of the sites that I've registered for in hopes of making small dabs of money here and there.
In February 2008, I noticed that my efforts at many of these sites (Squidoo included!) were starting to add up to real money each month. My Paypal account was growing greener with little deposits. Separately, they don't sound like much. Most of them are around $5 or so per month. But collectively, they are adding up to $20-$30 per month and growing rapidly.
And I'm not putting much effort into this. I check out links as I find them and sign up if it seems promising. Then I add some quick and easy content off the top of my head and stand back. I try to revisit these sites every week or so and add something new. I go on 'rounds' regularly, when I have a few moments to spare from my real job, and at many of the sites, I'm established well enough that a few weeks' hiatus doesn't seem to interfere with the residual income I'm earning.
Give it a try! Check out these sites that I've found, and add the ones that work well for you. Share your experiences, and add your own lenses or other related pages for some publicity.

These Sites Have Paid Me
- Helium.com
- Helium is a writing-and-rating site where quality writing rises in the field. So far, I've earned over $25 there.
- Associated Content
- I really like this one-I've earned over $150 here! Write articles on topics of your choice and submit. AC will offer you a payment which you can accept or reject. Once published, your work continues to earn bonuses based on traffic. It's turning into a nice 'residual' income for me even during months that I don't publish there.
- Triond
- Here's another good site for residual income. Post articles here and earn income based on page views. So far, I've earned $20.00.
- Squidoo, of course!
- I've earned nearly $37 from Squidoo so far.

The payout here is $50, so it may be a bit before I reach that. I'm trying to do a review or two each day, but I'm also very patient. I'll keep you posted!

I'm not a bit sure that this site pays out in cold hard cash, but I'm seeing an increase from it on my google adsense. That helps!
Get Going On Your Writing Career
Now, I'm not promising that you'll make millions, become famous, and retire to Easy Street. Writing as a career is demanding work and you need a combination of raw talent, a bit of training, persistence, and a dash of luck to make a living at it. However, nearly anyone can make pin money or supplemental income with just some effort and persistence. That's where this lens comes in. Check out all of the opportunities that I've found and that other visitors have shared. I'm sure that something here will be right for you.
