How Do You Cope?

From the lens Pain Awareness Month.

"God whispers to us in our pleasures, speaks in our conscience, but shouts in our pain: it is His megaphone to rouse a deaf world."

Great lens! Chronic pain can be so crippling. If the pain is stemming from gallbladder issues, there are many solutions beyond gallbladder removal. Thanks!

I didn't know there was a Pain Awareness Month. Very informative.

There are some very sad statistics here. That's a lot of people suffering chronic pain. Makes the rest of us realize how lucky we are! I get headaches and suffer from arthritis but its not a constant thing. Thanks for this lens and making people aware of the plight of others.

Thank you for this lens! I had no idea so many suffered with chronic pain. They must suffer in silence. You have certainly made me aware!

My mom was in a lot of pain until she was able to find reduced meds and you can really tel a difference now. My husband, as young as he is, has days where he cants stand up all the way straight because of the back pain and days where he walks with a limp because of the knee and ankle pain (sports injurys). I have an aunt with fibro and know several people online with it.

I don't see how people with constant pain cope at all. This lens is so very important!

I have a lot of joint pain, but it's on and off. I don't know why, but when I drink several glasses of pineapple juice everyday my joints don't bother me. I know I am really lucky and I wish everyone had access to relief.

I agree that pain is a national epidemic. I have seen the results of chronic pain and how devastating it is for those who suffer with it. Thanks for sharing this great info.
