Pajama Jeans - Pajama Pants That Look Like Jeans

If you're one of the few ladies out there who hasn't already bought Pajama Jeans, the pajama pants that look like jeans, then read my review before grabbing a pair, or two! Getting the right advise and care instructions for them will go a long way and ensures you'll get the best wear out of them.
Pajama Pants That Look Like Jeans
For most women, the battle between style & comfort when it comes to your wardrobe is always something we stress about, especially when it comes to jeans. When you buy them tight, and they're not built right for your body, they can flatten your butt, be really uncomfortable to wear, or show off some love handles in full force. If you buy them too loose, you can't accent your curves & figure the way we all want them to.

I heard about pajama jeans from a friend who saw them featured on The View, and she wouldn't stop talking about them. I went to
their website to find out more, and was pretty impressed, which is hard for anything to do as I'm a rather skeptical shopper.

It was obvious they would be comfortable, they're pj's after all, which was great knowing I could wear them all day without feeling like I was in a vacuum seal! More importantly, my weight tends to fluctuate throughout the year, so I thought they would be perfect since I didn't have to worry about cramming myself into them after putting on a few pounds during the holidays.

Not to brag, but these things make your butt look GREAT!

When I opened them up and tried them on, I was more excited about how stylish they looked as I found myself posing in the mirror like the girl in the commercial. I don't have the waistline I did when I was 18, so any pair of pants that look this good no matter what top you're wearing, are staying in my closet forever. You can't tell that they're not really jeans. Between the stitching, brass rivets, & boot cut design, they go with everything and make sure you don't look too dressed down & casual, which was exactly what I was hoping to get out of them.

My husband (who never notices anything), came home from work while I was making dinner, walked up behind me, smacked me on the butt, and said "lookin' good hun, are those new?"
I starting laughing because that NEVER happens. I usually have to tell him I bought new jeans, he'll glance at them, and then ask how much they cost. Even though they were less expensive than most jeans I buy, it's funny how the topic of cost seemed to slip his mind when he thought they looked so good. Men.

Pajama Jeans Review - How Are They So Comfortable And Still Able To Pull Off A Structured Denim Look?

Pajama Jeans Denim Dormisoft FabricLook out fashionistas, it's called Dormisoft fabric technology. Let's all put our hands together for the inventors of this material. From what I've read the pajama jeans denim is about 95% cotton, and another 5% spandex.

Apparently the perfect blend so us ladies can have the most breathable comfort, while maintaining enough style & structure to pull off a denim jeans look, something that regular jeans, being too thick and constricting, just can't do.

Having a pair of "jeans" that wouldn't dig into my skin or stomach when I sat down or leaned over, was a big plus for me. I'm in the car a lot running errands and hauling the kids everywhere, so not having to worry about them binding up constantly was great. Even some of my girlfriends who own them have been taking "Casual Friday" at work to heart, and still staying work chic while doing it.

Did I mention after my 19-yr old saw them on me, she asked for a pair? There's not many things more flattering than when your college daughter thinks mom's style is good enough for her. I can't recall that ever happening before. She said, "Mom! How do you know about pajama jeans? I want some", with a pouty look on her face. For some reason my daughter's seem to think that although that works with their father, that I still fall for it, lol.

Apparently her roommate had come back from spring break with a pair, and as girls do they share clothes and she had worn them a couple of times. As I know my daughter, I'm sure she had been plotting our purchase of them for weeks before she came home for the summer. After daddy's consent and soft heart (what a sucker), I bought more online from their site, and ended up ordering another pair for my mom as well.

Funny thing is, my mom's pushing 60, wears them more than I do, talks them up to her friends like she's got stock in the company or something, and looks dang good in them if I do say so myself. Who would've thought, 3 generations of women loving and looking great in the same pair of pants. It must be a cold day in you know what.

Pajama Jeans Sizing from XS up to 3XL

From my experience, it can be difficult buying clothes online because you don't get the opportunity to try them on before hand. Fortunately they provide you with a very detailed Pajama Jeans sizing chart below which helped me pick out the perfect size. I'm always apprehensive waiting for an online clothes order to show up, not knowing how it will look or fit. To my surprise, the chart was spot on and they slid on like a glove, but not too tight, and room for a little extra stretch if I needed some in the future.

How To Wash & Care For Your Pajama Jeans

How To Wash Pajama JeansTake important note on how to properly wash & dry your new look. As with many rich-colored cotton clothing, be sure to wash them (especially the first few times) with other like colored denim just in case they bleed a little bit. Also pull out the pockets before sticking them in the wash. When drying them, leave the pockets pulled out and check them once the cycle is done to see if they are thoroughly dried. If not, stick them back in.

The first time my daughter washed her's, as most college students do, she was rushing to get them out of the dryer to throw them back on and head out the door. She left the pockets tucked in and they were still damp when she put them on. She had her hands stuffed in her pockets as she was walking to class and by the time she got there, she had a light blue dye stain on her fingers. You should only have to worry about following the above steps the first few times you wash them, so just make sure to do so or you may end up with smurf fingers.

The commercial states they're wrinkle-resistant, which was hard to believe at first with a material that's almost all cotton, but as can happen in my busy household, they got left in the dryer for half a day as we had to run out. When I got home and pulled them out from under a mound of twisted & balled up clothes, what did I find? NO WRINKLES. Wow, another +1 for Pajama Jeans. It makes you wonder why I spent so much more money on other pairs of jeans I hardly ever wear.

Pajama Jeans Coupons & Discount Offers - Do They Really Exist?

Pajama Jeans CouponsI myself looked around trying to find the ever elusive Pajama Jeans coupons to see if they were actually real. Although they're cost is really low for the value of the pants in my opinion, it's engrained in most people's DNA to seek out a discount if they can find one or know it's out there.

So what did I come up with? A bunch of garbage as it seems. Anyone promoting a coupon, discount, or free pair was just trying to swindle me with a bogus offer to get me on their mailing list, fill out surveys, or buy other products. I never got any coupons. Go figure.

I even saw one site that "claimed" the actual retail price for Pajama Jeans was more like $80, and they would give you a special 50% off discount link when you signed up to receive other offers they had. Ladies, don't fall for these scams as you'll just get bombarded with junk spam email, and it's obvious when you go to the official Pajama Jeans website you can get them for way less.

Pajama Jeans Commercial As Seen On TV

Have you not seen the Pajama Jeans commercial yet? I still probably see it 3 or 4 times a week and they came out with them last year. Not sure they need to spend the advertising dollars as pretty much everyone has heard of them by now, but hey, I'm no CEO.

These things are everywhere! Every time I turn around they're being discussed or spotlighted for As Seen On TV products on some show or another, but they probably got most of their notoriety when featured on:

So if by now you've not heard of these from a friend, relative, co-worker, or that platonic male friend who dresses better than you :) then check out the commercial below and see what all the fuss is about!

How do the extra small sizes fit? I'm below the measurements on the chart - 24 waist, 30 hips and worried it won't fit. Any suggestions?

Love these jeans! My 20 year old daughter liked them on me so much she told me to buy a couple more. It is true you don't have to iron them, they come out of the dryer looking good.

I bought two pair to take on vacation with me.....they are GREAT to wear, don't bag at the knees or butt. Very comfortable to wear all day while on a tour or in the car. I agree with the others I wish more colors and styles. I am not too fond of the flared leg, or the boot cut, but the fit is nice so I can over come that. When I get home from this vacation I may try to sew up the flare a bit. It is worth a try as far as I can see.
Also about washing first....my hands turned blue the first day I wore them. I laughed at my blue-green hands and at first I couldn't figure out what was causing this.
Thanks for the review, you are "right-on" on all counts.

These are very comfortable but they rubbed blue dye onto my white tennis shoes and my hands so I will be returning these to the store that I bought them from. This was also after 2 washing.

I ordered a pair after reading a couple insightful pajama jeans reviews. They're pretty cool I just wish they had more colors to chose from. I really don't understand why they haven't made more colors, that makes absolutely no sense at all.

I bought these a couple months ago and was looking for their website to buy a second pair when I ran across this page. I don't know how you can't love them, they're by far my favorite thing to wear in my closet!
