Pal Evidence Eliminator Review Intro
Your Hard Drive May Appear To Be Clean But It Really Isn't
You may think that by clicking the 'Delete' option in your Windows menu that you're really getting rid of the file? Or that when that file hits the Recycle Bin and you empty it the that file has gone forever? Well guess again. Your system may look clean but those files are still there, all you have really done is remove the record for that file not the actual file so somebody could very easily recover it, such as a spouse, friend or law enforcement agency and use it against you.
Even if this material found its way on to your computer system accidentally you will have a hard time explaining it and they will hold it against you.
Your computer records almost everything you do while using it. The internet searches you do, the people you chat with and the chats themselves and any pictures you may send, receive or view.
Anybody with a limited knowledge of computers can find a data recovery tool online and use it on your computer and recover some sensitive data you thought was deleted with just a few keystrokes.
Your Life Could Be Ruined Because Somebody Recovers Your Sensitive Data
You hear about it happening everyday, everyday marriages are wrecked or people go to prison when information becomes made public that they didn't want made public. The truth is, your computer is spying on you and collecting potential evidence that can be used against you. There are some ways to prevent this from happening. For instance, using a good evidence eliminator program you have much better chance of making sure that any data you delete can never be recovered by anybody.. We take a look at Pal Evidence Eliminator and find out if will help protect your sensitive data.

Pal Evidence Eliminator Installation & Features
In the cookies area you're shown all the cookies that are presently in your cookies folder. From here you can choose to delete all the cookies that Evidence Eliminator found or if you have the time or inclination you can pick and choose which individual cookies you would like to delete.
The next area is Cache. This displays all the information found inside your Windows cache. This includes sites you have been to recently, any cookies on your computer and any images you have opened or sent. The cache is an important area to keep tabs on because this is one of the first places people will look to find out what you been up to on your computer.
The browser history tab shows every website you have been to recently and the date you visited them. This is a important area to keep on top of if you want to protect what you do online from others. Like the other areas of Evidence Eliminator you choose to delete all the entries found here or you can pick from the entries you would like to get rid of.
In the secure wipe area you can pick specific files to delete using either 3 passes or 7 passes of the file. The more times a file is overwritten the less chance there is of that data been able to be recovered by others but the slower it takes to actually delete the file.
Pal Evidence Eliminator doesn't come with a help file as part of the program and there isn't one in the program folder either. this is disappointing. You can get technical support but only through email. Some kind of live support system would have been nice.
For me Evidence Eliminator wasn't as user friendly as some of the other evidence eliminator products that I have reviewed. I would also have been happy to see many more areas covered by the program when scanning, as it is, its scanning is limited to only a few select areas. it would have been nice to see areas such as chat logs or Office documents scanned. Again, these options area found in other evidence eraser programs such as WinClear. if the people behind Pal Evidence Eliminator spent some times on their product to scan more areas and make it more user friendly then they would have a good product but as of now, with the product as it is I cant recommend it.
