She has been doing a lot of television interviews and we've had a chance to get to know a little more about her and her family. People are wondering what her plans for the future might be. Does she have political ambitions? Will she run for president in 2012? Does she want to be a talk show host? Although she is still highly controversial it looks like she will have some kind of public role.

- Sarah Palin, the first female governor of Alaska, was John McCain's running mate in the U.S. presidential elections of 2008. Palin was born in Idaho but moved to Alaska with her family when she was three months old. Two accomplishments from her youth have become especially well known: she played point guard for Wasilla High School's 1982 championship team, and she placed second in the Miss Alaska contest of 1984. After attending four different colleges, she earned a journalism degree from the University of Idaho in 1987, then returned to Alaska and married Todd Palin, her high school boyfriend, in 1988.

- When Sarah Palin gave birth on April 18th to son Trig Paxson Van Palin, she issued the following statement:
"Trig is beautiful and already adored by us. We knew through early testing he would face special challenges, and we feel privileged that God would entrust us with this gift and allow us unspeakable joy as he entered our lives. We have faith that every baby is created for good purpose and has potential to make this world a better place. We are truly blessed."

I like her. I don't agree with her stance on abortion which she can never pass anyway. She seems like a good, strong, articulate, intelligent woman.

She is awesome and I am jazzed. It's about time a woman is in the White House. I can relate to Sarah. She is me.

Not so much.
David says:
She is awful and appalling. Good Lord, it is frightening that this hideous woman is only one McCain heartbeat away from becomming President. Yikes! Her ethics are lousy, her grasp on our language is deplorable, and her anger consumes her. Yeah...that's who we need to turn things around. Right. I pray every night for our country to recognize her flaws. In such a high position, she would deplete our country to an even worse state that it already is.

Margo_Arrowsmith says:
She was a PTA Mom for merely two years, she was for the Bridge to nowhere, she took Wasilla from being totally in the green to ten's of millions in debt and tried to fire the head librarian when she wouldn't throw out books.
If that is someone you can trust or want with a finger on the red button......
