The History Of Pallet Trucks
Pallet Trucks or Pallet Jacks as they are sometimes known, first appeared when the Pallet was invented in the 1920s. An innovative way to store and move Warehouse goods, the Pallet took off massively during the Second World War when large amounts of equipment needed to be shipped to Europe and the Pacific. The Allies found that by using Pallet Trucks to move around large loads they could free up Soldiers for the War effort. Since then, Pallets and the Pallet Truck have taken off all over the World as the quickest and easiest way to store and transport stock in Warehouses
