Nails
Our nails endure daily beatings of hard toil, yet it is the most neglected part of our body. If we take good care of our skin through moisturizing, our nails need some moisturizing too.
How to Pamper your Nails
Damaged nails will cause some irritation and I cannot imagine myself wearing my favorite shoes with my nails hurting. So, it is about time to pamper our nails.
So, how do we do it? After bathing, or during nighttime before going to bed, apply lotion or nail care products that contain vitamin E on your Toenail. Vitamin E contains anti oxidant that will help nourish your damage nails. You can also use the same lotion or cream that you use for your body but this will not properly take of your nail problems should you have one. While taking a bath, make it a habit to scrub your toenails with a soft bristle brush to cleanse dirt lurking under your nails that may eventually cause your feet to smell.
Allow your nails to look pretty, through regular trimming, manicure and pedicure. The best time to trim your nails is after taking a bath because it is softer due to the water it has absorbed. Experiment in using nail colors, but do avoid nail colors that contain harmful chemicals such as formaldehyde, because you may end having coarse and damaged nails that you will realize only after the coating peeled off. I do suggest that you use the colorless ones; it looks neat, especially on your toenails. Moreover, it is best to remove nail color after two weeks. Use nail colors but not too often. A single coat of colorless will do, this will allow your nails to breath.
Have you experienced that after applying acetone, your nails appeared to be whitish and very dry? As much as possible avoid using acetone on your toenails. Acetone easily takes off the color polish but the chemicals remain on your nails even after thorough washing and brushing. When cleaning the nails, avoid overly scraping or pushing hard on your cuticles. The cuticle serves as a protection for the keratin cells that help in the regeneration of our nails. Allow your nails to relax in a peppermint foot soak every once in a while, through this method, your nails will get the necessary moisture that it requires. There are a lot of people who have problems with their nails and that require attention. In purchasing nail care products, choose the ones with all-natural content because body lotions and cream products are not specifically designed to care for your nails, making your problems unresolved. Luckily, there are now excellent nail care products available in the market such as ZetaClear that specifically address your concerns for your nails. It contains seven natural oils that are easily absorbed and will sufficiently help in moisturizing damaged nails. ZetaClear will help to rejuvenate damaged nails making it healthier looking, with moisturizing effect, reducing the appearance of scars and leave a soothing smell.
