Hang drums are something of a new phenomenon in the music world. Panart is the maker of hang drums. They aren't so much a company, but rather a collection of artisans who carefully craft each hang drum. Panart is currently making hangs, but from what I'm told it's in very limited quantities with a rather long waiting list. An authentic Panart hang drum will typically sell for between $7,000 and $15,000 in some cases. They are extremely rare.

To fill the void left in the hang drum market, Milltone now makes some very popular hangs, or at the very least products that look and sound very much like hangs. They sell on the used market for $500 - $700.
