This is a review of the Panasonic c131a. Hey there! I'm James and today we will be reading my review of my new Panasonic c131a Wireless Network Camera. The reason I'm writing this review is that I have soon many review on the internet regarding this product but, most of them looked very fishy, too good to be real, and it felt like they tried to sell me something. Therefore I've decided to write a genuine review in my own words to help my readers to make a moneywise investment when they are looking for this product on the internet.

The Quest For Camera

After trying over 20 wireless network cameras from 6 different brands over the past 7 years (each camera I bought was for $100-$360) and checking out many of my friend's cameras as well as testing and comparing their performance I came to the conclusion that most of these cameras are pretty much the same when it comes to quality functionality and liability. Eventually I went on to look for new cameras that are somewhat more advanced than all the common junk and a friend who works for a security company has recommended me to try the Panasonic c131a which he said he uses to keep an eye on the nanny with his baby from work. So following his advice I bought the camera.

Company Claims

Using this camera for a while I've noticed its biggest advantages over other cameras : it has an outstanding ability to snap images, it has a built in multi screen server BUILT IN inside the camera, the microphones are just AMAZINGLY sensitive and they pick up small noises remarkably well. It also includes software which is THE BEST on the market for finding the camera on your system and automatically configuring it. Tech support for Panasonic is the ONLY support I have contacted from 7 brands with AMERICANS speaking ENGLISH (not "Engrish"). Their patience and overall knowledge is truly outstanding and worth every extra penny this camera costs.

Overall

~DO NOT expect HD/BluRay quality from this camera - these are 640x480 screens at best and the upload speed of the home network will always be the biggest limiting factor. I won't recommend more than 4 cams online at the same time because this will overload even a good 768K upload system. -Thomas D. Breithaupt "Audio Engineer" (Naperville, IL USA)~

Overall I am satisfied with my purchase and I feel that I got an excellent deal for the money I paid. From what I've tested the Panasonic c131a is a very genuine product. The only thing I did not like is that the zoom in the camera is digital (NOT Optical) and if you zoom too much you will get some pixels. This sums up my opinion for this product, I hope it helped you and have an OUTSTANDIG day!
