There is just something about hot fluffy pancakes on a cold Christmas morning... must be thinking back to my childhood! My mom made the best tasting pancakes from scratch and then we drizzled them with maple syrup which dad actually made from the maple trees on the property! We had no idea just how lucky we were!
And although pancakes are especially good on Christmas morning... they really are a nice way to start the weekend any time during the cold winter months!
