Pandora and Troll Charms

Please don't take me wrong, you know that most of time you are paying for "Names" so if you should decide to put together a charm bracelet like this, shop around online because I have been AMAZED of the price differences compared to the prices in the store.

With this style of charms, if you are not really interested in bracelets, you can create a charm necklace, earrings and I believe I seen key-rings. Pandora and Troll sell GOLD and Sterling Silver whereas Brighton and other knock-off companies mainly sell metal with different finishes over it. I am not saying that Brighton does not sell sterling silver charms, I just have not seen any yet.

I did go into a Pandora Store and looked around. It is a bit over whelming to see cases upon cases of gold and sterling silver beads that range in price from $20.00 up to hundreds of dollars per bead!

I personally was not impressed with the store but they did have some beautiful items in there! Once I think about it though, perhaps I was not impressed because I knew I was not going to pay those prices for a little charm (except for my camera charm!!)

As we were leaving this mall in Michigan we walked pass this jewelry store and just for the fun it. I asked the sales clerk if they had a camera charm by any chance (because the Pandora Store did not). Without thinking about it the sales clerk said yes and grab it from behind the counter. I was so excited that I knew I had to look like a child in a candy store. I blurted out, I will take it! TRUST ME... before you do anything like that, ask the price FIRST!

You can pick any color theme for your bracelet or have the bracelet represent something important to you. As you pass them down to daughters, granddaughters and so on it will soon become a heirloom.

Also a lot of generic beads are interchangeable. I have a Brighton bracelet and found this particular one does not fit some of the Troll beads. So just be sure to know your bracelet thickness especially the side you add the beads.

All is not lost if you purchase a bead that does not fit your bracelet. When I was at the hospital visiting my mother-in-law, I stopped at the gift shop and they sold charms by some generic name and it was a purple bead! I purchased it without seeing if it fit my bracelet because it was very inexpensive. Come to find out it did not fit my bracelet but it did fit my necklace chain. So now I wear it on my necklace.
