Panic attacks can be so debilitating and the actual cause of any given attack is very difficult to determine. Panic Attack Solutions offers a unique way to break the cycle of anxiety that can lead to continuous panic attacks. Using a combination of natural breathing exercises and mental exercises, Panic Attack Solutions interrupts the endless cycle of anxiety that allows panic attacks to recur. This lens will focus on some breathing exercises that any panic attack sufferers can do to help alleviate some of the stress associated with panic attacks. Sometimes the simple breathing exercises presented below are enough to greatly reduce the frequency and intensity of panic attacks for many individuals. Hopefully, you will be one of the lucky few who fall into this category. But even if you are not, there is still no reason to despair as one of the most effective panic attack solutions ever invented is available to anyone!

Panic Attack Solution - Controlled Breathing

Controlled breathing is one solution that works for many panic attack sufferers

Controlled breathing is simply a way to force your own body (and mind) to steer away from the symptoms that can signal the onset of a panic attack. One of the early symptoms of a panic attack is shortness of breath, which really refers to shallow rapid breaths. This type of rapid breathing is usually accompanied by increased heart rate, confusion, anxiety and feelings of desperation. So much of the onset of a panic attack starts with breathing so working on controlling your breathing is one of the most effective panic attack solutions for chronic sufferers.

How to Control Your Breathing Using Simple Techniques

A few easy techniques can really enhance the effective of controlled breathing for panic attack victims

The best way to control your breathing is to begin by concentrating on exactly how you are breathing. The first thing to do is focus on inhaling. when you inhale make every effort to inhale through your nose and really inhale deeply. Once you have taken this deep breath in through your nose, pause of 2 or 3 seconds and then exhale slowly through your mouth. As you inhale force yourself to count (sometimes people feel that closing their eyes helps, as well). So as you inhale through your nose, count "in, one, two, three..." and as you exhale count, "out, two three, four..." Continue to do this until you feel your breathing start to regulate or normalize again. Doing this technique for 5 to 10 minutes while seated in a comfortable are away from distractions is most effective.

Panic Attack Solution - Positive Thinking

Changing your mindset can have a profound effect on the frequency of your panic attacks

You've all heard the old catchphrase before - The Power of Positive Thinking - and while there are many circumstances where this can't really help you (such as thinking positively that you will win the lottery), positive thinking is one of the most effective panic attack solutions for many sufferers. The key is to think positively before the onset of a panic attack. Many people (including myself) who suffer from panic attacks get to the point where we can feel an attack coming on. This is the most opportune time to begin positive thinking. One of the most effective ways to do this is to consistently reassure yourself that "everything will be fine".. Actually say the phrase, "everything will be fine" to yourself over and over. Concentrate on something positive about your day, your life, or anything that comes to mind that makes you happy and relieves stress. This could be an upcoming vacation to which you are looking forward or even a pet that loves and adores you. Think about only good things, things that reduce your stress levels and reassure yourself with positive phrases, such as "everything will be fine." Combine positive thinking with controlled breathing and you have one strong panic attack solution.

I've Tried These Techniques and Still Nothing Works

Here's what to do if the advice in this page is not a solution for your panic attacks

Everybody is different and the same holds true for panic attack sufferers. While controlled breathing techniques and positive reinforcement techniques may be sufficient for a large group of panic attack sufferers, sometimes these panic attack solutions are not enough. There are some people who have been suffering from anxiety for so long that their mind and body becomes 'conditioned' to experiencing panic attacks. For these folks, the relatively simple ideas presented above, unfortunately, may not be enough. But there IS hope. The cycle of anxiety has to be broken or interrupted and this is easier said than done. I was one of those people who was not able to break the cycle of my panic attacks as easily as I thought I would be able to. Fortunately, I was told about Panic Attack Solutions and their life-changing program Panic Away. This was really the reason I am now living panic attack free today and it is because of the techniques I learned in the Panic Away program that I have been able to remain free of any type of panic or anxiety attacks for almost two years now. I hope the techniques I presented above are sufficient for most of you who stop by my lens here, but if not I would at least give the Panic Away program a try. I hope that this lens was helpful and that you are all able to live panic attack free very soon!
