Description Of A Panic Attack
The sympathetic nervous system is what causes symptoms to appear during a panic attack. These symptoms often are heart palpitations, chest pain, shortness of breath, cold or hot flashes, dizziness, light-headedness, burning sensations in the neck or face, trembling, feelings as if they are choking. As you can see these symptoms can easily cause one to have high anxiety and stress.
A person often will rush to the hospital thinking they are suffering from a heart attack because of the chest pain and shortness of breath they feel during a panic attack.
Panic attacks can be separated by other forms of anxiety by paying attention to the sudden onset of a panic attack. There often is some other form of psychological condition or anxiety disorder that exists with a panic attack.
