Papa Roach is a four-piece rock band from Vacaville, California. They broke into the mainstream with their triple-platinum major-label debut Infest (2000). The group's success continued with later releases Lovehatetragedy (2002), Getting Away with Murder (2004) and The Paramour Sessions (2006). Their latest album, Metamorphosis, was released on March 24, 2009. Papa Roach has sold more than 10 million copies worldwide.

"Last Resort" is the debut single from Papa Roach's first album, Infest (2000), and first released single in total. It peaked at #1 on Modern Rock Tracks and #3 in the UK.
In the music video Papa Roach performs on a dance floor surrounded by fans. Throughout the video, the camera zooms in on a few of the fans near the stage and shows them in depression. There are many posters for radio station 98 Rock. This is the rock station out of Sacramento, CA that Papa Roach credit for jump starting their career. Inside the "Infest" booklet are thanks to DJs of the radio station. On the MuchMusic version, the word "Resort" is completely removed with no replacement.

"Scars" by Papa Roach from the album Getting Away with Murder
"Scars" is the second single from Papa Roach's third album, Getting Away with Murder
The song's video tells the story of Shaddix's girlfriend, played by Taylor Cole, who is a drunk and parties too much. One day, she gets too drunk and passes out at a party at Shaddix's house she wakes up with a hangover, and, grabbing her coat, knocks over a candle, which lands on a mat on the floor. The mat is stained with her beer from last night. She lights the house on fire unknowingly, and goes home. When Shaddix arrives home, his house is burnt down. The girlfriend comes back to the ruin and sees what happened and realized what she did. This video project was directed by Motion Theory.
